ATB ShortWith gas climbing past $4 per gallon and people worrying about the impact of their automotive emissions on the world, there’s a trend gaining speed—biking.

People are looking to drive less and bike more. To meet this need and keep people looking cool, Gramicci has created a line of fun, hip and functional urban biking apparel that can go from the bike to the casual office to dinner.  And designs are not your typical spandex and fluorescent stripes.

Fixie JeanChoose from pants, capris, shorts, skirts, jackets and performance tees in a variety of quick-drying and breathable fabrics with a cotton-like look and feel. Fabric is key, but so is fit.  Garment features include Gramicci’s “Freedom of Movement Gusset,” allowing for ease of pedaling, as well as the “Peg-A-Leg” adjustable hem feature.

There is also a ‘Rider Comfort Fit Waistband’ designed to keep the back of the pants up while riding. Mesh panels on the jackets allow for air-stream ventilation and zip-open breathable vents on sides further enhance air flow. All items in the uban biking line come with a removable sticker carrying the “Drive Less and Bike More” slogan. Check ‘em out at Gramicci.com.
