Half-marathon spectators experience New York
o Mile 3:
The ambitious spectator could manage to watch the start, then book it across the lower section of the bridle path along 86th Street to catch runners as they come up the west side at mile 3. The best bet from there is to hop on the subway and head down to the finish; it’s just too hard to try and see much else (unless you’re traveling by foot, and running!).

Because this zone is strategically placed right at the turn, it’s one of the best spots to see the professional runners make a move. It also provides a long view across
o Mile 11: NIKE Runner Station at
With DJ entertainment and fresh waffles, the NIKE Runner Station is one of the best places to kick back and enjoy the race. Runners still have a few miles to go, and at this point, they’ll need the support.
o The Finish
Spectators won’t have a clear view of the finish, as that area is limited to runners and staff. However, fans can position themselves near the pedestrian overpass at
